Office Staff

Malka Barukh

I am the Shul Secretary and the official “G’day” to most of your calls. I am in charge of accounts receivable, general enquiries, yahrzeits, etc.  I have worked at the shule for over 10 years and hope it will extend to another decade!

Phillip Ginges

I have been the General Manager since 2002 and am in charge of the accounts section. I still recognise this position as a challenge with many hats to wear, thankfully supported by a wonderful team.

I am the oldest employee and have completed over 40 yrs of service with Central.  I was Executive Secretary from 1969 and still help out with the shul accounts on a part time basis. I have a clear recollection of the accounts being computerised in 1987!

Lara Horne

I am Rabbi Wolff’s P.A. and I am really enjoying myself as it is a great position from which to get to know everyone.  I’m the person you have to get past to see the Rabbi! I also book all weddings and bar/batmitzvahs!

Vlad MoskvinVlad Moskvin

I am the caretaker and general “hands on" person at the shule. I literally work, eat and sleep at Central. I am the one who keeps the handles from falling off, the globes from burning out and the synagogue ship shape!

Vicky Sherman

I work part time at the shul in the accounts department. I am responsible for account payable and the payroll. I am enjoying the environment and working within a Jewish organization.

Janice WoolfJanice Woolf

I can be found in the front office at the shul. My general office duties include seating, function bookings, yahrzeit plaques etc.  Working in a shul there is never a dull moment and each day brings new challenges!
