SPARCS
We have a Special Program of Arts, Recreation and Culture for Seniors (known as SPARCS), at the Shule every Monday at 10.30am. Led by Anne-Louise Oystragh OAM, SPARCS provides a place for men and women aged 65 and over to find friendship, support and mental stimulation in a fun and lively environment. We aim to keep minds active, seek new experiences, share in the joy of learning and to provide a network of friendship and support during difficult times.
The SPARCS group is entertained by guest speakers, we enjoy games and group discussions and a light morning tea. Outings are organised to the theatre, countryside locations and museums. SPARCS is closely associated with other Jewish senior organisations to ensure like minded individuals have the chance to meet.

LUNCH & DISCUSS
On the first Thursday of each month, Rabbi David Freedman invites you to join him for a “Lunch & Discuss”, where he addresses challenging ethical issues in today’s Jewish world. The talk is followed by a light lunch and you are encouraged to participate in the open Q&A which follows.
